It was bound to happen, but didn’t unveil in the manner everyone thought it would.
Some individuals were waiting for McCain to, at some point, say something that could be interpreted as racist. Then the window would open for a targeted response from the Obama camp condemning the comments.
I guess the Obama camp got tired of waiting.
Obama said, in several public appearances yesterday, the Republican Party would try and scare voters by saying Obama “doesn’t look like all those other presidents on the dollar bills.”
Clever.
McCain never actually said those words – or anything like it. But it doesn’t matter; the damage is now done.
Create a hypothetical situation of what the other opponent “might do” and announce it as if they will do it. The great thing is you are only limited by your imagination and what you think you can get away with. (more…)
